These pequin chile ristras, also known as chile de arbol are grown in the sunny Hatch Valley in New Mexico, and tied up right there by families who have been doing it for generations! They are much spicier than the larger sandia chile ristras, and also more fragile. Because of this, we recommend hanging these ristras inside away from the sun and elements.
